Bennett Charged Over Threats; Setka in Melbourne Court

Shannon Bennett, 53, of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, has been charged with threatening Tanya Plibersek on social media. The Australian Federal Police investigated the matter. Bennett was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear in court on September 15.
John Setka, 61, appeared in a Melbourne court on charges of menace and offense. The allegations follow an Instagram post in which Setka referred to CFMEU administrators as "ALP hacks."
