Police said several men entered a home in Guildford on Saturday at about 7:40 p.m. and shot a 28-year-old relative of the Alameddine family in the back before fleeing in a white SUV.

In a separate case, a man's charge was upgraded to murder in connection with a shooting in Wildwood, north-west of Melbourne, ABC Australia said. The charge was initially filed as intentionally causing serious injury on August 19.
