Researchers Link Centenarian Immunity and Cancer Cells to Longevity

Researchers who studied people older than 110 determined that centenarians display adaptive immune systems, Nature News reported.
Deutsche Welle reported Aug. 3 that cancer is present in younger demographics and that the findings point to accelerated aging.
The Nature News report further indicated that cancer-killing cells could be central to extreme longevity.
Deutsche Welle added that contemporary generations are aging more rapidly than previous cohorts.
